Métis Art, Cultural Education, and Storytelling Experiences
Celebrating Métis Heritage Through Art & Storytelling
Freyja’s Haven is a Métis-led cultural arts and education initiative based in Fort McMurray, Alberta, founded by artist Stacey Grant.
Rooted in Red River Métis traditions and lived experience, Freyja’s Haven offers beadwork, workshops, and storytelling experiences that foster cultural connection, healing, and community.
What began as a personal journey of grief, healing, and reconnection has grown into a vibrant space where art and culture come together in meaningful ways. Stacey’s work is deeply influenced by her ancestral ties, land-based teachings, and a commitment to reciprocity and respect.
Each piece, workshop, and story is an invitation to reconnect: with culture, community, and self.
